BEIJING, Mar 31: The foreign ministers of China and Pakistan will strengthen strategic communication and coordination on international and regional issues including situation in Iran and make new efforts to promote peace and stop war, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning said on Tuesday.
“China and Pakistan are all-weather strategic cooperative partners with mutual trust and support. The two countries have similar positions and close communication on major international and regional issues,” she said during her regular briefing in response to a question regarding visit of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar to China.
“It is believed that the two foreign ministers will strengthen strategic communication and coordination on international and regional issues of mutual interest such as the situation in Iran, jointly raise the voice of peace and justice, and make new efforts to promote peace and stop the war and safeguard regional peace and stability,” she added.
DPM and FM Ishaq Dar is currently visiting Beijing on invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
