BEIJING, Nov 11 : Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian on Tuesday said that China is shocked by car explosion in New Delhi and conveyed condolences to the victims, extended sincere sympathies to the families of the deceased and the injured, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
Responding to a question about the incident, he said that China has taken note of the relevant reports regarding explosion incident in New Delhi, India.
According to available information, there were no Chinese casualties, he added.
As per media reports, on the evening of November 10 an automobile explosion occurred in India’s capital, New Delhi, causing multiple casualties, and that Indian authorities are currently investigating the incident.
