Singapore, July 29 : Luxury electric vehicle (EV) brand AVATR has officially made its entrance into the Singapore market with a spectacular reveal at Capella Singapore. At the event, the AVATR 11, the brand’s flagship model, was showcased to local audiences for the very first time. Designed to embody the brand’s vision of “New Luxury”, AVATR reimagines premium electric mobility through its intelligent technology and contemporary design.
Founded in 2018, AVATR is a collaboration between China state automotive group CHANGAN Automobile, global leader in new energy innovative technologies, Contemporary Amperex Technology Company Ltd (CATL), and technology powerhouse Huawei.

Celebrating AVATR’s Arrival: A Curated Experience at Capella Singapore
To commemorate its arrival, AVATR hosted an exclusive brand showcase that welcomed media, partners, and tastemakers to experience the AVATR 11 up close for the first time. The highlight was a dramatic on-stage reveal of the AVATR 11 by Singaporean celebrity Fann Wong, alongside Mr Dean Sciole, adding a touch of glamour and emotion to the highly anticipated moment.
Guests were further immersed in the world of AVATR through a live installation by Meridian, the brand’s premium in-car audio partner, transforming sound into a multi-sensorial experience.
Adding to the excitement, the event also featured a rare preview of the AVATR 012, a limited-edition showpiece with only 700 units globally. Co-designed by AVATR’s Chief Design Officer Nader Faghihzadeh and renowned fashion visionary Kim Jones, former Artistic Director of Dior Men’s and Fendi Women’s Ready-to-Wear, the AVATR 012 fuses automotive innovation with couture elements.
Introducing AVATR 11: A new chapter of luxury The AVATR 11 is a mid-size SUV which combines the dramatic design of a supercar with the practicality of an SUV. Its athletic dimensions, 4,880mm in length, 1,970mm in width, and 1,601mm in height, with a generous 2,975mm wheelbase, create a confident road presence. Its world-class supercar body proportions and harmoniously balanced silhouette is built around a 0.61 ratio of axle length, the golden ratio of supercars.
Signature F-shaped LED lights, a floating body design, and large panoramic glass sunroof, give the AVATR 11 its instantly recognisable profile. Smart electric doors, 21- or 22-inch wheels with Brembo brakes, and a bold front profile reflect the brand’s futuristic DNA, a vision that earned it the 2024 Red Dot Design Award. Inspired by elements of nature, it is available in six colours – Glossy White, Glossy Grey, Glossy Black, Liquid Caramel, Matte White, and Matte Grey.
Available in standard and long-range variants and powered by 90kWh and 116kWh batteries from CATL respectively, the AVATR 11 supports super charging, restoring the 90kWh battery from 30% to 80% in just 15 minutes, and the 116kWh variant in 25 minutes. This ensures drivers remain road-ready with minimal downtime. Enhancing performance even further, the Standard Range accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds, while the Long Range variant takes 6.9 seconds.
Advanced safety and smart driving features include semi-autonomous assistance such as adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, blind spot detection, rear collision warning and more, delivering an intuitive and safe driving experience. The AVATR 11 is also built with a 5-star safety structure that protects passengers, battery integrity, and cabin air quality.
A design philosophy of ‘Future Elegance’
Inside, the cabin is a sanctuary of quiet sophistication. Premium Nappa leather envelops the front dual Zero-Gravity seats, which offer heating, ventilation, and five massage modes for unparalleled comfort. A curved triple-screen display creates a seamless digital interface, while 256-colour ambient lighting and a 25-speaker Meridian sound system completing the immersive sensory experience.
