JINAN, Oct 30: The fourth Confucian Business Conference opened here on Thursday and guests from all walks of life, both at home and abroad, gathered in Jinan, Shandong province to seek cooperation and development.
The current Confucian Business conference is aimed at deepening the implementation of the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
“We will earnestly implement the important speech and important instructions and recommendations of General Secretary Xi Jinping who made during visit to Shandong, vigorously promote the spirit of entrepreneurship, gather Confucian business forces at home and abroad, and promote a higher level of mutual benefit and win-win.”
At the opening ceremony, the guests focused on new energy resources, new materials, artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing and other emerging industries and delivered keynote speeches. A number of key cooperative projects were also signed.
The Confucius Business Conference is hosted by the Shandong Party Committee and the provincial government. Since its founding in 2018, it has successfully promoted more than 700 cooperation projects, which has become an important platform for Shandong to promote Confucian culture to the world and deepen economic and trade cooperation.
During the current Confucian Business Conference, 11 “dual recruiting and attracting” activities were organized, and 16 cities held city promotion to showcase the Confucian spirit and promote cooperation and development.
